MD SSGC inaugurates newly constructed Medical Centre at Karachi Terminal

NEWSSSGC’s Medical Services Department has always pursued to restructure itself on modern lines though continuous improvement in its operations as well as by creating basic health awareness amongst employees about various ailments and medical conditions. The Department added yet another feather to its cap with the inauguration of a newly constructed Medical Centre at the Company’s Karachi Terminal facility on January 20, 2014.

Zuhair Siddiqui, MD, SSGC inaugurated the new facility by unveiling the plaque and cutting the ribbon. Yusuf J. Ansari, DMD (Corporate Services), Dr. Shehla Naqvi, SGM (Management Services), Dr. Munawar Hayat, DGM (Medical Services) along with a large number of executives and staff from the Medical Services and other departments witnessed the inauguration. Office bearers of Sui Southern Gas Officers’ Association (SSGOA) and Peoples’ Labour Union (CBA) were also present on the occasion.

On the occasion, Dr. Shehla Naqvi briefed the MD and other members of the management about the new Medical Centre and various facilities it offers. In his speech, the MD congratulated Dr. Naqvi and her team for adding yet another facility to cater to the employees’ health needs. The MD hoped that besides providing top quality treatment, the new medical centre will also focus on helping many patients manage their chronic diseases through result-oriented disease management and expert patient programs.

This new Medical Centre will provide basic medical services to the Company employees and is equipped with a sprawling reception area, an emergency room, consultancy clinics and a pharmacy store.
