A number of paradigms shifting projects are being implemented in full throttle to bring about a major improvement in gas pressure and supply. Construction of 32 Km segment (from MVA Baran to RS-4) of planned 30-inch Ø x 116 Km pipeline project has been completed in record time of 60 days against a plan of 6 months. 201-km worth of major pipeline projects / schemes within the Quetta city have been completed to supply gas at correct pressures to domestic customers and save on UFG. In Karachi, a 24-inch dia. x 31 Km pipeline project is expected to be completed by June 2024 to resolve the long pending pressure issues at SITE and HUB. Enhanced focus is placed upon the initiation of Karachi Distribution Master Plant entailing construction of five distribution main lines along with independent gas measurement of all distribution mains to optimize system pressure and separation of domestic customers from industrial network. Two pipelines have already been commissioned while work on next two are in progress.
