The 16 inch dia. gas pipeline located in Bath Island, Clifton that got damaged on Tuesday has been repaired and gas supply to affected areas has started. Teams who worked diligently for nearly two days straight to ensure complete restoration and supply.
Due to the damaged line, gas supply in Clifton, Gizri, DHA, Gizri, Punjab Colony, Delhi Colony, Old city area, Mai Kolachi, Bath Island, Sultanabad, Ziauddin Hospital, Dolmen Mall, Movenpick, Mariott and PC hotels and areas around Mai Kolachi was affected. SSGC’s teams remained on site since the day the rupture took to carry out complete maintenance work for earliest resumption of gas to the customers.
