SSGC’s cyclists completely dominated the Tour de Islamabad Cycle Race in the men and women professional events and emerged as the champions of the yearly event. The Race was held from.8th to 10th of the event.
The Race, jointly organized by Pakistan Cycling Federation and Islamabad Cycling Association, was held in three stages. In the men’s event, SSGC’s rider Abdul Razzaq clocked 6 hours, 6 minutes and 38 seconds to clinch the first position. And in the women’s event, SSGC’s rider Rabia Garib won the 2nd spot. SSGC also won the men’s professional team event. Gas utility’s Mohd Shan won the young rider’s title. Imran Maniar, MD, SSGC and Asif Ansari, Secretary, SSGC Sports Board lauded the gas utility riders for their brilliant performances.
