SSGC recently completed and commisioned the segregation of Sales Meter Stations (SMSs) for pressure and volume improvement and minimizing UFG losses. The plan involved laying down a 16′ dia., 5-km long pipeline from Surjani to Madinat-ul-Hikmat.
This year a master plan was implemented to segregate SMSs Surjani, Malir, Karachi Terminal and Fauji Fertilizer in Karachi. This segregation was done to improve gas pressure and volume for the industrial and domestic customers in SITE Industrial Area and Orangi Town by making isolation of SITE Industrial Area possible.
