Following are some of the gas distribution projects being implemented in Karachi:
Separation of industrial customers from the domestic network, especially in Site & Korangi industrial areas where around 90% & 70% of segmentation have been completed in Korangi, respectively. Objective: Ensure optimum pressures and control UFG.
Implementation of Karachi Distribution Master Plan entailing construction of five distribution main lines for optimizing gas pressure.
Site mobilization started for the 16” dia. x 6.2 Km pipeline from PSM Main Gate to Yousuf Goth (Landhi).
Procurement process started for 20” dia. x 9 Km pipeline from Azeempura to Jam Sadiq Ali Bridge, 20 dia. x 11 Km pipeline from SMS Sheedi Goth to Tapping Point, and 24” dia. X 31 km from SMS ACPL to Surjani pipeline projects.
