An awareness session on ‘Protection against Harassment at the Workplace’ was arranged by the HR Department at the SSGC Head Office Auditorium, Karachi in collaboration with Federal Ombudsman Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH). FOSPAH’s Ombudsman Ms. Fauzia Viqar and her team dilated on the menace of workplace harrasment and laws and rules related to it for providing justice to the aggrieved party.
Imran Maniar, MD, SSGC and the senior managers from various departments and divisions attended this useful session. SSGC’s Inquiry Committee members for Protection against Harassment at the Workplace were also present on the occasion.
The MD stressed that the Board of Directors and the management have a zero tolerance against workplace harrasment and fervently believe in taking swift and decisive action against the accused.
