Imran Maniar MD, SSGC inaugurated the Company’s Training & Development Center Quality Assurance Lab located in Dopeyard, SITE Industrial Area, Karachi on August 18, 2023.
MD, SSGC was accompanied by Saeed Rizvi, ADMD (Operations and UFG) and other members of the senior management. Shamail Haider, DGM/Incharge, HSE&QA briefed the management and other executives about the aims and objectives of the Centre and Quality Assurance Lab.
The primary purpose of the Centre is to:
- Enhance the skills and knowledge of engineers and staff through interactive learning and hands on training.
- Provide specialized training to improve technical expertise in Quality Control processes.
- Provide trainings on TQM, SPC and ISO Series Standards
- Vendor Development through Training
The Centre will provide training in the following ways:
- Develop specific training materials
- Practical demos through simulations and animations for better understanding
- Involve industry leaders
- Utilize expertise of SSGC resources
- Establish R&D initiatives
