The Government of Pakistan has appointed Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, Chairperson, SSGC as the Caretaker Federal Minister of Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs, Statistics and Privatization.
Earlier, on the occasion of Pakistan’s 76th Independence anniversary, President Arif Alvi conferred Dr. Akhtar, who was former Governor State Bank of Pakistan and currently also the Chairperson on the boards of Pakistan Stock Exchange and Karandaaz, with Nishan-e-Imtiaz for her invaluable contribution to public service.
