SSGC’s men and women cyclists made a clean sweep of the Independence Day Cycle Race competed today from Karachi to Gharo. SSGC and Sindh Cycling Associated jointly organized the 80-km long cycle race.
SSGC’s Azan, Shan and Waleed clinched the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively, in the men’s event with an excellent display of cycling. On the other hand, in the women’s event, SSGC riders Kinza Malik, Rabia Garib and Asma Jan left their opponents high and dry with some fine cycling.
32 cyclists from across Sindh participated in the Race. M. Amin Rajput, DMD (F&A / CFO) saw off the cyclists from SSGC Head Office Building in the morning as the Company executives and staff as well as supporters of the riders cheered on. The winners were presented with cash prizes at the end of the Race.
