- SSGC is working on improving its organizational structure viz-a-viz efficiency and effectiveness through upskilling, adequate training, and adequate resource utilization down to the grassroots.
- Rehabilitation of Distribution network has been re-strategized. The quantum of network rehabilitation effort has been amped up to over 600 Km per annum.
- Network Rehabilitation works in FY 2021-22: Karachi (285 Km), Interior Sindh (180 Km), Balochistan (4 Km).
- Network Rehabilitation works in FY 2022-23: Karachi (492Km), Interior Sindh (202 Km), Balochistan (49 Km).
- Major rehabilitation schemes in the interior Sindh region are planned in Kandhkot (113 Km), Shahdadkot (92 Km) and Sakrand (75 Km).
- Around 400 Km distribution network in Lyari are planned to be rehabilitated to improve service delivery in tail end areas.
- A master plan is also under development for rehabilitating around 4,500 Km distribution network in the next 3 years.
