Customer Relations – Raising the Bar

Customer Relations Department is responsible for handling customer complaints of various nature and promptly attends emergency complaints. Presently, 23 Customer Facilitation Centers (CFCs) across SSGC franchise areas facilitating visiting customers in registration / resolution of their queries / complaints.

Key Achievements

  • During 2021-22, CFC representatives dealt with approximately 1.12 million customers for installments, queries, duplicate bills, reconnection and unlocking activities and resolution of other queries etc.
  • Theft Control teams disconnected 9,047 numbers of registered customers with usage/measured volume of 382 MMCF and 5,214 numbers of un-registered customers with usage/measured volume of 220 MMCF.
  • Under the UCG Framework (Un-registered Consumer of Gas), CRD installed Check/Bulk meters at 1,887 flats/customers in 79 buildings and raised theft claims amounting to Rs 6.8 million and volume of 32.15 MMCF. Theft Claims realized from 800 customers amounted to Rs 3.8 million and volume  of 18.11 MMCF.
