It may be noted that SSGC continuously strives to tap the defaulting customers specially those owing huge amounts to the utility.
The Company undertakes a series of activities in softly reminding the defaulters by initially printing messages on their gas bills and later sending them letters and notices. These steps are followed by personal visits to their premise for convincing the customer to settle the dues.
The non-compliance of defaulters’ results in the disconnection of gas supply through meter locks application and removal of meters in certain cases.
These activities are being vigorously supplemented with execution of 6-7 phases of recovery media campaigns in a year.
