MBA with at least 6 years of relevant experience or MPA with at least 8 Years relevant experience.
Specialization in Human Resources shall be given preference.
Responsibilities:
Receive disciplinary complaints against employees and proceed as per relevant rules, which may require counseling, formation of enquiry committee and/or initiation of legal proceedings upon approval of competent authority.
Coordinate and communicate with the key stakeholders with regard to employee conduct and disciplinary investigations.
Assist enquiry officers, committee constituted in disciplinary cases, Legal department and other stakeholders regarding any queries or receive and pass on information required.
Analyze and review the investigation reports and recommend to management, appropriate disciplinary actions.
Coordinate with legal department to receive routine updates, regularly update the database of cases and seek management’s approval to execute the disciplinary cases and proceedings.
Review drafts for charge sheets, show cause notices and final orders with regards to disciplinary proceedings against the employee(s) concerned.
Ensure that the drafts are submitted for review and approval by HR management.
Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders for employee disciplinary cases, investigations and follow-up actions.
(Internal stakeholders include legal department, management representative and other departments. External entities include Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Prime Minister Delivery Unit (PMDU), external legal counsel and courts.)
Provide necessary support in the resolution of on-going litigation with the third party or contractual employees.
Where required, represent SSGC in the court of law for the legal cases against the employees.
Prepare case files, prepare and store all documents.
Undertake any other task as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
