Qualification & Experience:

Engineering Graduate (Civil) or equivalent qualification with at least 9 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in Oil and Gas Sector.

Responsibilities:

    The position leads Assets Maintenance and Projects Section. Should be capable of multi-tasking to oversee diverse range of activities grouped under various sub-sections such Civil construction projects (Planning, Estimation, budgeting, Tendering process, Project execution, quality monitoring & timely completion), managing teams, ensuring project efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality and HSE.

     

    • Lead and manage a diverse team of professionals, including project managers, engineers, and construction staff.
    • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a Team.
    • Co-ordination with Consultants and Contractors for obtaining effective quality and quantity of projects.
    • To analyze the requirements and prepare corresponding BOQs / Cost estimates, commensurate to the project requirements.
    • Effective decision-making skills and the ability to navigate challenges.
    • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of civil construction projects undertaken by AS Department or monitor those projects of eminence executed through relevant construction Departments.
    • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
    • Technically evaluate the bids in accordance with the bid document
    • Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones and standards of workmanship.
    • Monitor and control project costs to meet budgetary constraints and arrange for additional requirements.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment and to provide guidance and support to team members where needed.
    • Ensure effective communication within the team and with all stakeholders.
    • Ensure and maintain safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment
    • Ensure contract compliance and resolve any disputes that may arise during the project.
    • Implement risk management plans to safeguard project success
    • Familiarity with relevant MS Office tools and project management systems
    • To perform additional duties as and when assigned by the HoD.
