MBBS with at least 9 years of experience. Candidates having MCPS shall be preferred.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee medical staff within the region, including physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals.
Implement medical policies and procedures for the region, ensuring compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
Ensure timely and appropriate medical treatment for employees within the region, including coordinating care with healthcare providers and managing medical records.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to employee health and wellness, including wellness programs and health education initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of medical services provided within the region, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Manage relationships with external healthcare providers and vendors, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and other contractual obligations.
Prepare reports and presentations on medical activities and outcomes for senior management and other stakeholders as needed.
Ensure compliance with all relevant rules, regulations, and industry standards related to medical operations and employee health.
Conduct regular visits to their respective medical centers for direct supervision as and when required.
Review monthly performance / monitoring MIS of retainer doctors and chemists in the region on Oracle Base Performance.
Inquire and propose suggestions to curb misuse of medical facilities at their respective medical centers.
Suggest replacement of retainer doctor(s) who are consistently recommending high value prescription and suspected to be involved in corrupt practices.
Review monthly reports of chemists and propose measures for a fool proof system of medicine delivery through chemists.
Review the details of referrals made by each doctor including retainer doctors to the panel facilities at the regional medical offices.
The review shall be based on the monthly reports submitted by the regional medical center in-charges.
Review the medical aspects of the individual bills supporting the summary of bills for approval.
Arrange medical boards to review complex medical cases, recommend further treatment, and approve sick leave as needed.
Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership.
Develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management.
Monitor risks and response strategies under their management.
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.
Implement the company standards and practices ofHealth, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) to ensure the safety and well-being of SSGC employees, the protection of the work environment, and the quality of services.
Undertake any other assignment as instructed by immediate supervisor.
