MBA with at least 04 years of post-qualification experience preferable in Oil and Gas / Public Sector.
Responsibilities:
Review the technical aspects of the Gas Sale and Purchase Agreements and Gas Transportation Agreement and provide input to the supervisor.
Coordinate with E&P Companies to seek their input/comments or observations on the drafts of the agreements.
Coordinate with the technical / relevant departments (under the guidance of supervisor) within the organization, for comments / feedback on the terms of the Agreements.
Ensure compliance with the prevailing petroleum policies, rules, directives, SROs etc.
prescribed by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) and other competent authorities of the Government of Pakistan in dealing with GSPA matters.
Identify the quantum of the changes in the draft agreements and ensure proper implementation of the recommended actions.
Monitor the approval process to formalize the arrangement for acceptance of EWT Gas volumes (during EWT phase) and Commercial Gas volumes (after the Declaration of Commerciality).
Guide the team members in furnishing appropriate responses against clarifications/queries raised by OGRA and MoE (in consultation with concerned departments).
Respond to the queries raised by the Government auditors and/or internal/ external audit with regards to the finalization and/ or implementation of GSPA/GTA/Term sheets etc.
, in close liaison with relevant section of GSPA department.
Prepare updates for the Board on the action points regarding progress achieved in the GSPA/GTA/ Term sheets etc.
