MBA preferably in Finance/ Accounts with at least 09 years of experience in relevant field.
Professionally Qualified Accountant will be an added advantage i.e. CA / ACA / ACMA / ACCA.
1. Supervise maintenance of records on General Ledger (ERP) related to management and non – management, ensure that information related to changes in payroll records are received and checked properly and authorize updating of records on a timely basis. Ensure timely processing of Monthly Payroll for Executives and Staff.
2. Ensure that data on salaries and allowances and other employee earnings related information is obtained from respective user department and locations in a timely manner.
3. Liaison with respective departments (including Human Resources) for obtaining necessary clarifications and explanations relating to payroll functions.
4. Supervise activities pertaining to receipt and processing of information relating to inter – department transfers and inter – location transfers and authorize necessary changes in payroll records.
5. Supervise maintenance of ledger including employee loan / advances and ensure accurate reconciliations on a timely basis.
6. Monitor income tax deductions at source and ensure compliance of all statutory and regulatory requirements in this regard.
7. Supervise activities pertaining to determination of bonus entitlement, and ensure incentives pertaining to Meter Manufacturing Plant comply with SSGC’s rules as per agreed charter.
8. Review and evaluate the Court orders as verified by Legal and make payment accordingly as per Succession certificate.
9. Review payroll summary and reconciliation, arrange for approval of competent authority, and l with concerned department in matter relating to payroll disbursements.
10. Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership.
11. Develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management.
12. Monitor risks and response strategies under their management.
13. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting
14. Undertake any other assignment as assigned by immediate supervisor.
