JOB DETAILS:
Qualification & Experience:

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from an HEC recognized university with minimum of 09 years of post-qualification experience in R&D, with at least 3 years in a project management role. Candidates having experience of Oil and Gas / Public sector shall be preferred.

Responsibilities:
    1. Lead the planning and execution of R&D projects and new initiatives from concept through completion.
    2. Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
    3. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to define project requirements in order to achieve the required objectives.
    4. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet goals.
    5. Develop and review project tenders, engineering equipment specifications and service level agreements in collaboration with the team and departmental head.
    6. Initiate procurement of supplies, services, and after-sale support required for the projects.
    7. Lead the Design & Analyses team on various projects, ensure that the design meets the requirements.
    8. Develop and review the NCB and ICB bidding documents in compliance with the PPRA and PEC rules and regulations.
    9. Finalize the procurement mode, strategy and procurement cycle time in consultation with departmental head and Procurement Department.
    10. Foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement within project teams.
    11. Ensure compliance with project contracts, industry regulations, and standards.
    12. Report on a regular basis the project status, any challenges being faced, and outcomes to the departmental head.
    13. Identify and mitigate project risks.
    14. Develop and maintain project documentation in line with the best practices.
    15. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for potential projects.
    16. Lead the process of identification and development of new technologies and solutions to address business needs.
    17. As a mentor to develop junior engineers within the project teams.
    18. Coordinate with the operational department for the implementation of projects.
    19. Coordinate with external partners and vendors to support project objectives.
    20. Oversee the integration of new technologies into existing systems and processes.
    21. Support the development and maintenance of engineering standards and specifications.
    22. Develop and implement training programs for project management methodologies.
    23. Develop familiarization with PPRA, PEC, API, PSQCA, ISO, ASME, PPRA, AGA, ANSI standards and rules and regulations.
    24. Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership.
    25. Develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management.
    26. Monitor risks and response strategies under their management.
    27. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.
    28. Perform any other task assigned by senior management.
