Qualification & Experience:

Engineering graduate from HEC recognized university with atleast 6 years of experience. PEC registration is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

    The role of this position is to oversee the Distribution Pipeline in the Sindh and Balouchistan regions, for managing the planning, construction, and maintenance of distribution pipeline networks. The role also supervises team of engineers, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the distribution pipeline infrastructure to meet the gas supply requirements of customers in these regions.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Develop comprehensive strategies and objectives for the design, construction, and maintenance of distribution pipeline networks in the Sindh and Balouchistan regions, in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
    2. Supervise a team of engineers responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of distribution pipeline projects, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise as needed.
    3. Coordinate with regulatory authorities, government agencies, and local stakeholders to obtain necessary permits, approvals, and clearances for distribution pipeline projects in the Sindh and Balochistan regions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
    4. Oversee the design and engineering of distribution pipeline systems, including route selection, pipeline sizing, material selection, and hydraulic/ flow tests and analysis, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and specifications.
    5. Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for distribution pipeline projects, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and resource allocation, to ensure timely project execution within budgetary constraints.
    6. Monitor the progress and performance of distribution pipeline projects in the Sindh and Balouchistan regions, tracking key metrics such as project milestones, budget expenditures, resource utilization, and quality control measures.
    7. Conduct regular site inspections and audits of distribution pipeline facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and operational procedures, implementing corrective actions as necessary to address any issues or deviations.
    8. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including distribution maintenance, and customer relation teams, to address operational challenges, customer complaints, and service disruptions related to distribution pipeline networks, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
    9. Maintain relationships with external partners, contractors, consultants, and industry organizations to stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in distribution pipeline engineering and management.
    10. Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and executive leadership on distribution pipeline projects, performance metrics, budget forecasts, and strategic initiatives, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making processes.
