JOB DETAILS:
Qualification & Experience:

Bachelors in Electrical /Electronics /Instrumentation or equivalent from HEC recognized university with at least 2 years of experience. PEC registration is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

    The position of Engineer - E&I exists for the purpose of ensuring seamless integration of electrical and instrumentation aspects within mechanical projects.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Participate in feasibility assessments for E&I aspects of projects, aligning with the seniors’ guidance and contributing to comprehensive feasibility reports.
    2. Undertake material inspections for E&I components, offering recommendations and highlighting non conformances based on stringent quality assurance protocols.
    3. Provide support in monitoring E&I project execution at construction sites, checking for compliance with design specifications, relevant codes, and industry standards.
    4. Verify project schedules and timelines, ensuring adherence to deadlines and identifying potential areas of concern.
    5. Engage with vendors to ensure the selection of reliable and cost-effective electrical and instrumentation components and services.
    6. Actively contribute to the installation, construction, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation elements, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
    7. Apply in-depth knowledge of electrical and instrumentation engineering principles, practices, and industry standards within the gas or energy sector.
    8. Assist in ensuring that E&I components adhere to relevant standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
    9. Integrate electrical and instrumentation components into mechanical projects, ensuring holistic project functionality.
    10. Review engineering designs, providing technical inputs for optimal E&I project specifications.
    11. Contribute in the timely identification, reporting, recording, and management of key risks associated with E&I aspects of projects.
    12. Engage in continuous professional development and training initiatives to stay updated on advancements in electrical and instrumentation engineering.
    13. Comply with the risk management framework.
    14. Participate actively in risk management activities across the organization.
    15. Ensure that key risks are identified, reported, recorded and managed in a timely manner.
    16. Receive appropriate training in risk management.
    17. Undertake any other tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor.
