The position of Chief Manager - Project Control exists for the purpose of assisting in strategic planning, designing and budgeting of engineering projects. The incumbent will work towards delivery of projects while adhering to stringent timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare design protocols and technical specifications for procurement of materials, develop Bill of Quantity and detailed drawings.
- Prepare write-up of Revenue Requirements for Projects executed by P&D department.
- Ensure completeness of design documents in accordance with international standards being following in gas industry.
- Work closely with the accounts team to create and manage project budgets, making educated decisions that combine cost-effectiveness with the highest quality requirements.
- Oversee the utilization of budget for pipeline projects and ensure that the expenses should remain within approved budget.
Develop mitigation and alternative strategies to remain within approve budget.- Establish effective change management procedures, adjusting project plans as necessary to account for changes in scope, objectives, or external influences.
- Develop and implement strong risk management techniques, recognizing, analyzing, and mitigating possible problems to ensure project success.
- Monitor and assess project performance against defined parameters, delivering thorough updates on progress, accomplishments, and possible barriers.
- Promote the creation and implementation of stringent quality control procedures across all project phases, guaranteeing strict adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders, within and outside the organization, regarding project budgets, project monitoring & control, schedule, scope etc.
- Optimize the allocation of resources for project teams, collaborating closely with HR to ensure the efficient deployment of human and material resources.
- Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership.
- Develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management.
- Monitor risks and response strategies under their management.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.
- Undertake any other task as assigned by immediate supervisor.
