Qualification & Experience:

Engineering graduate. from HEC recognized university with at least 9 years of experience.  PMP will be preferred. PEC registration is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

    The position of Chief Engineer - Project Management exists for the purpose of assisting in strategic execution, management and monitoring of engineering projects. The incumbent will work towards delivery of projects while adhering to stringent timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Lead the development of detailed project plans, precisely specifying deadlines, resource allocations, and scheduling to guarantee the effective fulfillment of project objectives.
    2. Work closely with the accounts team to create and manage project budgets, making educated decisions that combine cost-effectiveness with the highest quality requirements.
    3. Monitor and assess project performance against defined parameters, delivering thorough updates on progress, accomplishments, and possible barriers.
    4. Monitor and manage the project execution at the construction site and check compliance with the design specifications and applicable codes and standards.
    5. Ensure compliance of project schedule and timelines of the construction projects.
    6. Highlight to the management the need to activate any penalty clauses against the respective contractor in case of project delays. 
    7. Promote the creation and implementation of stringent quality control procedures across all project phases, guaranteeing strict adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    8. Develop and implement strong risk management techniques, recognizing, analyzing, and mitigating possible problems to ensure project success.
    9. Establish effective change management procedures, adjusting project plans as necessary to account for changes in scope, objectives, or external influences.
    10. Optimize the allocation of resources for project teams, collaborating closely with HR to ensure the efficient deployment of human and material resources.
    11. Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership.
    12. Develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management.
    13. Monitor risks and response strategies under their management.
    14. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.
    15. Undertake any other task as assigned by immediate supervisor.
