Qualification & Experience:

Engineering Graduate, preferably Mechanical, Civil or Project Management with at least 14 years of post-qualification including 4 years’ experience in senior management / leadership role. Experience of working in Oil & Gas Sector shall be preferred.

Should not exceed 57 years
Responsibilities:

    Job Summary:

    The position is responsible for the planning and execution of Infrastructure Construction initiatives, high-pressure gas pipeline facilities, for the transmission and distribution functions. This entails all aspects of Project Management whilst ensuring strict adherence to Company SOPs and follow best practices established by international codes. Any additional Infrastructure construction that has been bid for revenue generation purposes by SSGC.

     

    Job Responsibilities:

    1. To ensure smooth planning and implementation of new developments and enhancement of the existing pipeline structure of the company.
    2. Project Construction Planning to include Manpower requirements, Machine/Equipment requirements, timeline development along with cost and budgetary allocations i.
    3. e. all aspects of Project Management including progress monitoring. 
    4. Elicit Management Approvals prior work.
    5. Maintain active supply chain controls with Khadeji being the base camp, feeding the on-site camps.
    6. Ensuring proper cash flow and expense monitoring throughout each project 
    7. Necessitate compliance to Company SOPs and best practices as guided by international codes, where relevant.

    9. Payroll management and disbursement of contractual labour on site
    10. Ensure provision of tools of business and safety gear for HSE policies to be complied with.

    12. Plan and forecast the department Budget and seek necessary approvals.

    14. Maintenance of Company Code of Ethics  within the department 
    15. To conduct tender evaluations for material procurements for the projects
    16. To supervise preparation/finalization of Projects Completion Reports
    17. Assessment of developmental needs of staff .
    18.  
    19. Ensure all emergency needs related to Gas Pipeline disruption and any support needed under the  company CSR initiatives.
    20. To ensure succession planning by identifying, developing and maintaining pool of successors for key positions within the division / department.
    21. Foster and encourage continuous learning and development culture and encourage continuous education at all levels within the division / department.
